The story of Flensted Mobiles began with a stork mobile made by Christian Flensted for his daughter’s christening in 1953. Since then, birds have continued to inspire many of our designs and remain one of the most enduring themes in our collection. Like all Flensted mobiles, these designs are handmade in Denmark by families across the island of Funen, who assemble the mobiles from their own homes.
